Wilson Community
Enhancement Charity

Fostering Safety, Health & Recreation for our Lakefront Community

The Wilson Community Enhancement Charity was established as an organization dedicated to helping kids learn to swim.  We were established in 2000 with the ribbon cutting of Linnea's Pool, a First Class facility at 57 Harbor St in the village of Wilson.  Since then, the WCEC has adopted the Salmon Run 5K race and created  Harbor Hoops,  one of WNY's largest and most loved 3 on 3 Basketball Tournaments.  The WCEC also provides a family orientated outdoor movie series and concerts in beautiful Clark's Park.

57 Harbor St  is also home to The Wilson Harbor Pool Club,  a members-only club that is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Our most important asset, however, is the Swim School. Linnea's Swim School is the reason we exist and we are proud of all the children who's lives have changed through our instruction.  Linnea's Swim School is a generous free program available to all the children in the community, and the classes and instructors are all Red Cross Certified.

Please Donate to the WCEC

Please help our organization continue to offer special events to this wonderful community, especially the free swim lessons we provide to all the children in the Wilson School District.  Every donation goes directly to the free swim program at Linnea's Pool, the Salmon Run 5K , the Harbor Hoops 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament & the free outdoor movie series during the month of August.  No donation is too small!
